Hon. Alade Ogundare's death is a big loss to Osun APC. Olamiju.
Dr. Siji Olamiju, former Special Adviser on Public Health to former Osun State Governor Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola,Dr. Siji Olamiju aka AKOL, has described the death of Hon. Alade Ogundare as an irreparable loss to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obokun and Osun State. He stated that the party has lost another progressive-minded individual at a time when the party is working to return to power in Osun State.
In a statement released to the press in Osogbo, Osun State, through his media team, Dr. Olamiju noted that Hon. Alade Ogundare was the Chairman of Obokun Local Government during the 4th Republic and had contested for the chairmanship position under the platform of the Progressive Party, Alliance for Democracy (AD) He achieved great feats as Executive Chairman of Obokun Local Government and remained a dedicated member of the progressive party, serving as one of its Leaders in Obokun.
He commiserated with the family, the All Progressives Congress in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, and the progressive family in Osun. He acknowledged that everyone will eventually answer to their supreme call, but Hon. Alade Ogundare's death came at a time when his presence was most needed in the party. Dr. Olamiju prayed that God grant him eternal rest and fill the vacuum created by his death.
