Akol Celebrates Ajibola Basiru as Islamic Leader
Professor Siji Olamiju, popularly known as Akol, has joined well-wishers in congratulating Senator Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Commissioner and Attorney General of Osun State.
In a statement released to the press in Osogbo, Osun State, through his media team which he personally signed, Olamiju described Senator Basiru as a man of courage, competence, bravery, and religious tolerance The new title of Asiwaju Musulumi of Osun State is a testament to Senator Basiru's commitment to serving God and humanity across Osun State.
He commended the Osun State Muslims Authority for their unbiased decision in conferring this title on Senator Ajibola Basiru. He encouraged all religious leaders to emulate this exemplary leadership.
Prof.Olamiju recalled , with good sense of thanks, the prominent and supportive roles of Sen. Bashiru during and after his emergence as Obokun/ Oriade House of Rep's Candidate in 2019 National Assembly elections.
