IPHREC Honors Osun Amotekun Commander, Omoyele with Diplomatic/Human Rights Peace Excellence Award

The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, has been honored with the prestigious Diplomatic/Human Rights Peace Excellence Award by the International Peace and Human Rights Education Council (IPHREC). 

The award ceremony took place in University of Ibadan hall on Thursday, recognizing the outstanding contributions of Dr. Omoyele and other distinguished individuals who have made significant strides in promoting peaceful co-existence within society.

Dr. Omoyele was recognized for his unwavering dedication to safeguarding the interests and rights of the people, especially in maintaining peace and security in Osun State. His tireless efforts in upholding law and order, alongside his commitment to fostering a harmonious environment, were lauded by the organization, leading to the bestowment of this prestigious award.

The award, according to IPHREC, is a symbol of appreciation for his exceptional service to the people, as well as an encouragement to others who serve in various fields, urging them to emulate his remarkable work.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Omoyele expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organization for bestowing the honor upon him. He dedicated the award to the second anniversary of the remarkable achievements of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke in Osun State, acknowledging the significant strides made by the administration in enhancing security and development in the state.

Dr. Omoyele reaffirmed his commitment to continue protecting the rights of the people and vowed not to relent in his efforts to promote peace and justice within the society. He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in building a peaceful and secure nation, pledging to uphold the values of diplomacy and human rights in his role.
