Spokesperson Praises Governor Adeleke's Unmatched Achievements in Two Years
Osun State has experienced significant progress across various sectors under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, which is now in its second year.
Governor Adeleke’s spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, made this statement during his appearance at the 6th Media Parley organized by Osun Online Publishers in Osogbo on Saturday.
Rasheed expressed gratitude to the people of Osun for their unwavering support and prayers, attributing the administration's achievements to their contributions.
Highlighting the governor's accomplishments, Rasheed revealed that over 150 kilometers of roads have been completed in the past two years, with several other road projects currently underway.
He further announced that as part of the administration's second-anniversary celebrations, a new agricultural initiative called "Agropreneur" will be launched next week. The program is designed to boost food production and ensure food security. Under Agropreneur, young people across all local governments will receive grants and farming tools to start agricultural ventures. The state government will also purchase their produce for processing and sale at subsidized prices within the state, with plans to export some to other regions, further stimulating the local economy.
Rasheed also outlined efforts to address the water shortage issue in the state, which include replacing old pipes from the Ede waterworks to Osogbo, drilling additional boreholes in every ward, and overhauling the Ora water scheme.
He concluded by urging the people of Osun to continue their support for Governor Adeleke, whom he described as a God-sent leader dedicated to guiding the state to greater prosperity.
