Revitalizing Grassroots Governance: Aare (Engr.) Benjamin Kayode Adereti’s Strategic Tour of Ife Federal Constituency LG Secretariats ....Repositioning Local Leadership for Effective Governance, Party Strength, and Electoral Victory

Impactful tour of all Local Government Secretariat in the constituency on Monday, March 24, 2025. His mission was clear: to enhance party structures, reinforce progressive leadership, and reignite the commitment to delivering democratic benefits at the grassroots level.

The tour kicked off at the Ife East Area Council in Modakeke, Ifè, where Engr. Adereti expressed his support for the council chairman, Hon. Mojeed Lawal. He acknowledged Lawal’s leadership and encouraged him to continue promoting the APC’s progressive agenda.

At Ife South Local Government, Engr. Adereti was met with enthusiasm by Hon. Mufutau Adegbite and other council executives. In his speech, he praised the council’s efforts in securing the APC’s victory at the Appeal Court and took a moment to recognize key party figures, including Mr. President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, Osun APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, Otunba Christopher Iyiola Omisore, and former Deputy Governor, Baba Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin, Senator Omoworare and leaders for their relentless work in maintaining the party’s strength.

As he continued to Ife East Local Government, Engr. Adereti and his team were warmly welcomed by Hon. Akinwole Safiriyu Akinwale, his executive team and members of the legislative arm. He commended their resilience and emphasized the crucial role of grassroots leadership in delivering essential governance benefits to the community, urging them to deepen their commitment to public service.

At Ife Central Local Government, Engr. Adereti was warmly welcomed by Hon. Olayera Elugbaju, along with party executives and loyal supporters. He shared an inspiring message, encouraging the council to tap into the potential of Local Government Autonomy to propel developmental projects and uplift the communities in Ife. Hon. Eluyera, in turn, expressed heartfelt gratitude, reaffirming his commitment to making sure that governance leads to real progress for the people.

The final stop at Ife North Local Government was celebrated with a grand reception hosted by Hon. (Prince) Adeyeba Ayoola, alongside key party stakeholders and loyalists. During his speech, Engr. Adereti reiterated his loyalty to the APC’s leadership at both the federal and state levels, thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, HE Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, Sen. Iyiola Omisore, and Sooko Adewoyin for their dedication to the party’s growth. He urged the council leaders to focus on infrastructure development, social welfare, and community engagement to strengthen APC’s grassroots support as they look ahead to 2026.

As he wrapped up his tour, Aare (Engr.)
