Citizens of Osun State Demand Better Roads and Transparency

Concerned citizens of Osun State have issued a press statement calling on Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration to address the deplorable state of the Aagba-Ore village road in Boripe Local Government. The road, constructed under the Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project (ORAMP), has raised serious concerns about accessibility, infrastructure quality, and stakeholder engagement.

The installation of lower barriers restricting truck access for agricultural produce transportation has sparked questions about the road's intended use and design. Citizens are demanding quality infrastructure, transparency, and accountability in road construction and maintenance.

The concerned citizens of Osun State are demanding that the Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project (ORAMP) produce the road approval paperwork for the Aagba-Ore village road. Specifically, they want to see documentation that clarifies the road's design intentions, including:

- *Road base material*: Whether the road was approved to be built with a stone base or not

- *Vehicle restrictions*: Whether certain people or vehicles were intended to be restricted from using the road

The citizens are seeking transparency and accountability in road construction and maintenance, and want to understand the reasoning behind the road's design and restrictions.
