Easter: Let's Continue To Pray For Nigeria's Unity, Prosperity, NPA ED Charges Christians

 

As Christians mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, they have been urged to continuously pray for the continued peace, prosperity and unity of Nigeria.

They were also charged to rekindle brotherly love among people irrespective of faith, ethnic or personal differences, as it will further promote and enhance the growth of the society.

Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Badmus stated this in his Easter Message.

Reflecting on the mood of the nation, Engr. Badmus noted that what the country needs at this time is the unity of all citizens to come out of the current security and economic challenges.

He also called for more prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, reassuring Nigerians that the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which is being implemented will soon yield positive fruits.

His words, "I felicitate with our Christian brethren - brothers and sisters on the occasion of Easter. It is a period of reflection on the sacrifice and uncommon love that Jesus had to lay his life to grant unto us, an everlasting life. 

"While we reflect on the lessons of Christ's death on the cross of calvary and his resurrection today, we must not just wine and dine alone. We should, in turn, remember those moments of pain and grief, which later turned into strength for mankind. 

"I want to urge us all to use this moment to pray for God's benevolence on Nigeria and grant us unlimited peace and prosperity. I wish to reiterate that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is not resting on its oars to bring the much needed progress and development to our land. 

"We have a lot of confidence in his ability and leadership to deliver. By God's grace, the insecurity and economic challenges looking insurmountable will soon be a thing of the past because I am sure that Mr. President is working round the clock. Let us continue to support him.

"On behalf of our leader, boss and mentor, H.E. Isiaq Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, leadership of our party - the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, friends, family and our people throughout the state, I wish us a blissful Easter. May the joy of the season abound in our lives and propel us to more greatness.
